OUR MISSION: As the Official Children's Chorus of West Virginia, our mission is to develop artistic excellence, quality music education and extraordinary opportunities for West Virginia's youth.
The Appalachian Children's Chorus was founded in 1990 by Selina Cosby Midkiff. ACC has grown from 12 members in its inaugural year to more than 200 today. ACC has been named the official children's chorus of West Virginia as well as ambassadors of music of West Virginia. ACC is a rich, exciting and educational experience for West Virginia's children and is so much more than notes on a page. The music is the facilitator toward skills that will carry choristers for the rest of their lives.
