Chamber Choir

For children in grades second through fifth grade

Chamber choir is one of ACC’s middle level choirs, one level below Camerata Choir. In this level, children have demonstrated an ability to sing in tune. They improve their unison singing skills and begin singing in two parts. Beginning music literacy, vocal technique and the development of the voice begin at this level. The children in this choir will begin to sing in other languages.

In this choir, children may have a few extra performance opportunities including a short overnight trip to perform in a music festival. Past Chamber choirs appeared with B.E. Taylor and were guest performers for a corporate Christmas party. They have also performed at the Music in the Parks festival receiving top honors during their evaluation. The schedule this year has them again performing with B.E. Taylor for his Christmas concert in December 2011.

Children will have regular weekly rehearsals but does not have Saturday rehearsals.

Tuition for this choir is $400.00 for the season.
